Network (GLN) Transaction & Privacy Policy:
TRANSACTION POLICY:
The following is extracted from the GLN Membership Agreement
(www.go2gln.com/agreement.html) which members are required to
sign as part of their membership application:
Membership Fees:
1) Each member shall pay an annual Membership Fee as established
by the GLN President from time to time.
2) Effective with new members after January 1, 2005, it is also
mandatory to pay USD 500 annually towards the Accounts
Receivable Insurance Fund. This sum will be included in your
initial membership invoice and every additional renewal (every
12 months).
3) Fees are payable for a 12 month period from the date of
acceptance and will include an USD 25.00 Bank processing fee if
funds sent electronically.
4) In the event that payment is not received within 30
days of billing or the day of membership renewal, a $200
surcharge will be applied and the member shall be considered in
default and Membership revoked if full payment (inclusive of the
surcharge) is not received within the next 14 days.
5) If renewal membership fees are not received within 30
days of the due date, it is the prerogative of GLN management to
invoke the following: (a) A final reminder for payment will be
sent to the member and payment must be received within 7
business days of that alert (b) If the funds are not received
then the member will be placed on the Amber Alert and advised
accordingly. The Accounts Receivable Fund Committee feel that if
a member cannot meet or pay membership fees by a certain
deadline, then how can other members expect to be paid on time
on monies outstanding that might be thousands of dollars more.
6) Resignation or revocation of Membership during the year
will not entitle the Member to any refund of the Annual Fees.
7) Annual Fees are not transferable under any
circumstances.
Refund Policies:
Once
received, GLN will not refund any monies received via Credit
Card. See the above concerning our policy of refunds on
Membership fees. Conference Fees and other refunds will be
made by Wire Transfer or check only where applicable.

GLN's Privacy Policy covers the collection, use, and disclosure
of personal information that may be collected by GLN anytime you
interact with GLN, such as when you visit our website, when you
become a GLN member, or when you contact GLN. Please take a
moment to read the following to learn more about our information
practices, including what type of information is gathered, how
the information is used and for what purposes, to whom we
disclose the information, and how we safeguard your personal
information. Your privacy is a priority at GLN, and we go to
great lengths to protect it.
Why we collect personal information
We collect your personal information because it helps us deliver
a superior level of customer service. It enables us to give you
convenient access to our products and services and focus on
categories of greatest interest to you. In addition, your
personal information helps us keep you posted on the latest new,
updates, announcements and events that you might like to hear
about.
GLN takes your privacy very seriously. GLN does not sell or rent
your contact information to other marketers.
At times we may be required by law or litigation to disclose
your personal information. We may also disclose information
about you if we determine that for national security, law
enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is
necessary.
How we protect your personal information
GLN takes precautions — including administrative, technical, and
physical measures — to safeguard your personal information
against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as unauthorized access,
disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
The GLN website, where applicable, uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
encryption. Doing so protects the confidentiality of your
personal and credit card information while it’s transmitted over
the Internet.
Integrity of your personal information
GLN has safeguards in place to keep your personal information
accurate, complete, and up to date for the purposes for which it
is used. Naturally, you always have the right to access and
correct the personal information you have provided. You can help
us ensure that your contact information and preferences are
accurate, complete, and up to date.
Cookies and other technologies
GLN does not use “cookies” or "Pixel tags".
GLN does use “click-through URLs” linked to content on the GLN
website. When customers click one of these URLs, they pass
through our web server before arriving at the destination web
page. We track this click-through data to help us determine
interest in particular topics and measure the effectiveness of
our customer communications.
Our companywide commitment to your privacy
As we said, GLN takes protecting your privacy very seriously. To
make sure your personal information is secure, we communicate
these guidelines to GLN employees and strictly enforce privacy
safeguards within the company.
International users
GLN abides by the safe harbor framework set forth by the U.S.
Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and
retention of personal information collected from the European
Union. The following link provides more information about the

GLN’s website has links to the sites of other companies. GLN is
not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to
learn about the privacy policies of those companies.
Privacy questions
If you have questions or concerns about GLN’s Customer Privacy
Policy or data processing, please contact ADMIN@GO2GLN.COM who
will respond to your inquiry within 3 days.
GLN may update its privacy policy from time to time. When we
change the policy in a material way a notice will be posted on
our website along with the updated privacy policy.
